Coffee Shop

I’ll go to Northwest Coffee Roasting which opens early in the morning and opens at 7 am. Usually, I’ll get there between 7:30 am – 8:30 am. I walk into the coffee shop you walk through a patio but this week I saw the roof was starting to cover the side with metal siding walls to cover the walls for winter with snow and sleet or rain. Spring drips drizzle onto the wet concrete.

The contractor twiddled his mustache with his wavy gray beard, wearing blue t-shirts with his name logo on the back of his shirt and light blue pants and beige boots with his tall body with long arms. It seemed he knew what he was working on today for the patio. He was checking on the beam on the patio, his shoulders helping the top of the patio with his very long arms. Maybe it has a strong sense of ceiling, or maybe see what he needs to check out? After walking inside through the patio with a row of wooden picnic benches on your left side of the patio and a right side café table with two chairs, some metal chairs, or upholstery chairs like vinyl chairs. A few sit on the so I’m waiting to walk inside and a few customers walk on the wooden park bench and a few sit on the chairs with the café table. Waiting to walk inside the small blue-painted coffee building they only left one person or a group.

I used to wear my mask but it’s been over two and half years, you don’t have to wear your mask unless you want to mask on. When you see the customers walk out of waiting you can come outside the building you can make get want you to want to drink or eat or both. Al with his smile working the front station always seemed very happy and always loved to tell him what I always want, “Yes sir, may I have medium dark coffee with extra oat creamer and cinnamon coffee cake and that’s it!” Al smiled again! Al started working on the medium dark coffee with extra oat creamer and his beverage was beautiful with a flower on top of my coffee and sealed with a cover and placed it on the top coaster, and smiled! Waited to the side of a tall cover and wait to get my coffee and coffee cake. Checking out Al, he’s short like mine he looks like a Jamaican with his hair long dreads his thin face a small mustache with a Bob Marley t-shirt and he had copper rings and a copper bracelet, he smiled and said, “Thank you again.” I said, “Have a great day!”

I walked outside the patio, a metallic chair, and a café table with white rocks and flaming heaters it was a bit cold but the temp made it so much better through breezy into-the-air winds. Drank my splendid medium-sized dark coffee with extra oat creamer with my delicious cinnamon coffee cake checking to see the wall around the Northwest Coffee Roasting shop, it was delightful. ☕
